Results from a previous longitudinal study, the Swedish OCTO-Immune study, indicated that
the combination of higher CD8 peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs), decreased CD4 PBLs,
and poor proliferative response to mitogenic stimulation in very old humans were associated
